Job Description

Take the next step in your Special Education teaching career by helping students succeed across a dynamic school district near Wilmington, DE. Were seeking passionate individuals ready to join a dedicated educational community in an onsite, full-time role. Youll provide vital support to students with diverse learning needs, working collaboratively with staff and families from now through early June 2027.
Key Qualifications:
Valid and active Delaware Special Education teaching certification (required; please provide with your application) Experience working with K-12 students in special education settings Strong ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and school staff Adaptability to serve a diverse caseload across different schools in the district Demonstrated commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver instruction and support services to students with special needs as assigned Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) Assess student progress, adapting interventions and goals as necessary Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and other professionals Maintain accurate, timely documentation of student performance and compliance Assist in creating a positive, encouraging classroom atmosphere for all learners This contract role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact district-wide while gaining valuable experience and building strong connections within a supportive team.
