Duties Supervise children during after school hours, ensuring their safety through attentive child supervision and behavior management. Assist students with homework and school assignments Support Math & English enrichment activities Plan and lead engaging activities including arts and crafts, outdoor games, sports coaching, theater projects, and youth group activities that support childhood development and social skills. Implement classroom management strategies to maintain a positive environment conducive to learning and fun. Administer first aid and CPR when necessary, following established protocols to address minor injuries or health concerns promptly. Collaborate with colleagues to develop age-appropriate curricula that incorporate early childhood education principles and youth development programs. Support children with special needs by adapting activities and providing personalized assistance in line with best practices in special education. Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns that arise during program hours. Experience Prior experience working with children in educational, childcare, camp, or youth program settings is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability in classroom management, behavior management, and child supervision across diverse age groups. Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and familiarity with first aid protocols are required to ensure safety at all times. Background in early childhood education or childhood development provides a strong foundation for nurturing young learners effectively. Previous involvement in youth group activities, theater experience, babysitting, or tutoring showcases versatility in engaging children through various methods of instruction and entertainment. Proven team leadership skills combined with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality youth programs are essential for success in this role.
