Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Make a real impact as a Special Education Teacher working with elementary students in a supportive academic environment. We have multiple full-time contract positions available for skilled educators ready to nurture young learners in grades K-5. You'll be working in self-contained classrooms, teamed up with paraprofessionals to provide the individualized attention and encouragement each student deserves. In this rewarding role, you'll engage with students who have mild to moderate, as well as moderate to severe, needs. Your expertise will help shape their daily experiences and open doors for growth and development.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Valid teaching certification in Special Education Experience working with elementary-aged children, preferably in a self-contained setting Strong classroom management abilities and adaptive communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, support staff, and families Familiarity with IEP development and implementation Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive environment for diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
