Company Overview Ark Angels Christian Preschool is an APPLE Accredited Christian preschool dedicated to nurturing young children in a caring and faith-based environment. Since 2008, we have been committed to providing quality early childhood education for up to 57 children in a welcoming setting near the intersection of key local areas. Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead One's/Two's Teacher to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will lead classroom activities, develop engaging curricula, and foster a positive learning environment for toddlers. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire young learners, support their developmental milestones, and promote a love of learning from an early age. Responsibilities Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans tailored to toddlers' needs, incorporating curriculum development principles and early childhood education best practices Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, socialization, and emotional growth through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support each child's individual growth, including special education needs or early intervention programs when applicable Use communication skills to clearly convey daily activities, progress, and concerns with families and team members Incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and Montessori methods into daily activities to stimulate holistic development Monitor child welfare closely, ensuring safety protocols are followed during daycare activities and toddler care routines Maintain accurate documentation of children's progress, standardized testing results when applicable, and classroom records Requirements Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, especially with toddlers aged one to two years old Strong background in childhood development theories, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies Knowledge of early intervention practices, special education accommodations, and literacy education methods Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing Montessori or similar educational approaches Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members effectively Ability to manage a classroom confidently while fostering a positive learning atmosphere Prior preschool experience in private school settings or daycare environments is preferred Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable Join us at Ark Angels Christian Preschool where your dedication will help shape the future of our youngest learners!
