In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment tailored specifically for toddlers aged three years old. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire young learners to explore, discover, and develop essential skills through innovative teaching methods. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to shape the foundational years of children's growth while fostering a love for learning in a supportive setting. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for three-year-olds Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence Use effective behavior management strategies to support positive social interactions and emotional regulation among children Conduct regular assessments of children's progress using standardized testing methods and observational techniques Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate developmental milestones, concerns, and progress updates Incorporate literacy education, early intervention strategies, and Montessori principles into daily activities Plan and lead engaging lessons that include physical education, arts and crafts, storytelling, and hands-on learning experiences Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development theories and early childhood education best practices Experience in classroom management and lesson planning tailored for toddlers Proficiency in curriculum development with an emphasis on literacy, math, and sensory activities Ability to work effectively with children, demonstrating patience, empathy, and enthusiasm Familiarity with special education needs and early intervention techniques for diverse learners Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues Knowledge of classroom experience standards including daycare regulations and preschool requirements Skills in behavior management strategies to support social-emotional growth Experience in teaching physical education activities suitable for toddlers Understanding of child welfare policies and practices to ensure a safe learning environment Must have DCF 45 hours Ability to adapt lessons for private school settings or daycare environments as neededJoin us in making a meaningful impact during these formative years!
