Future Kids Academy is seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic 2-Year-Old Lead Teacher to join our team in Lake Worth, FL! We are looking for an early childhood educator who enjoys working with toddlers and can create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment . The ideal candidate is patient, organized, dependable, and passionate about helping young children learn and grow. Responsibilities Plan and implement age-appropriate activities for 2-year-old children. Support children's language, cognitive, social-emotional, and physical development. Lead circle time, small-group activities, sensory play, music, art, movement, and learning centers. Establish consistent classroom routines and provide positive behavior guidance. Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming classroom. Actively supervise children and maintain required staff-to-child ratios. Assist with daily routines, including meals, diapering/toileting, handwashing, and nap/rest time. Observe children's development and complete required classroom documentation. Communicate professionally with parents regarding children's daily activities, development, and needs. Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and support staff. Follow Florida DCF licensing requirements and all center health, safety, and child-protection policies. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent- Required At least 1 year of teaching and/or childcare experience
- Required Experience working with toddlers or preschool-aged children strongly preferred. Florida DCF 45-Hour Certification
- Required CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework preferred. Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain. Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills. Ability to maintain a calm, positive, and nurturing classroom environment. Dependable, patient, energetic, and professional. Genuine passion for working with young children. Fluent English
- Required Physical Requirements The position requires the ability to: Stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, and sit on the floor for extended periods.
Pay:
$15.00- $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0
