Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate School Teacher to foster a positive learning environment for students across various grade levels. The ideal candidate will possess strong instructional skills, expertise in curriculum development, and the ability to engage students through innovative teaching methods. This role involves delivering comprehensive lessons, managing classroom dynamics, and supporting student growth academically and socially. Experience with children, classroom management, and a commitment to educational excellence are essential for success in this position. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across subjects such as Math, Literacy, and Physical Education. Deliver instruction in areas including Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, Trigonometry, and other related disciplines using effective teaching strategies. Utilize learning technology and digital resources to enhance student understanding and participation. Assess student progress through standardized testing, formative assessments, and regular evaluations; adapt teaching methods accordingly. Manage classroom behavior to create a safe and productive learning environment. Mentor and support students academically and socially, fostering their personal development. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, school activities, and extracurricular programs such as sports coaching or library services. Engage in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices, including knowledge of Chicago Manual of Style, AP style, copy editing, and education administration. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and behavioral issues through conferences or written reports. Support special education needs and implement inclusive teaching strategies tailored to diverse learners. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject area; advanced degrees or certifications preferred. Proven experience working with children in classroom settings or similar environments; private school experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of core subjects including Math (Algebra, Geometry, Calculus), Literacy Education, Creative Writing, and Childhood Development. Familiarity with teaching physical education, sports coaching, or library services is advantageous. Excellent communication skills for public speaking, academic advising, and mentoring roles. Proficiency in lesson planning, curriculum development, standardized testing preparation, and behavior management techniques. Experience with learning technology tools and innovative instructional methods such as Montessori approaches or special education strategies. Ability to adapt teaching styles to meet diverse student needs while maintaining classroom discipline and fostering a positive environment.
