Position Details
- This position follows a 4-day work week with one rotating Friday per month to support essential school operations. Duties
- 4-Day work week model with one Friday rotation a month
- Create and implement lesson plans that align with the school curriculum and educational standards
- Utilize various teaching methods and resources to engage students in the learning process
- Provide a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior and respect
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement school-wide initiatives
- Use technology effectively to enhance instruction and student learning
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and assessments ```Qualifications```
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
- Valid teaching certification or license in Elementary Education
- Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with autism or other special needs
- Proficiency in classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies
- Knowledge of math concepts and ability to teach math effectively
