Special Ed Teacher | Ocoee, Florida Ocoee, FL Job Details Contract 4 days ago Qualifications Working with individuals with disabilities Working with children Classroom experience Working with students with special education needs Elementary school teaching Special Education Certification Teaching Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A reputable elementary school in Ocoee, FL, is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide in-person instruction for a 12-week leave coverage beginning in August. This contract role offers an opportunity to support students with diverse learning needs in a structured educational environment.
Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized special education instruction to elementary students. Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Plans) in collaboration with the educational team. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed. Collaborate with classroom teachers, specialists, and families to support student success. Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Qualifications:
Valid Special Education teaching certification. Experience working with elementary-level students with special education needs. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
