Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. This role involves working closely with students to enhance their understanding of various subjects, develop their skills, and support their academic growth. The teacher will utilize effective teaching strategies to create engaging lessons tailored to individual student needs. We are currently seeking Reading/Math/Multi subject teachers for grades K-12 but are also open to teachers that can do K-5. The teachers should be able to see students in person in their homes, virtually and at other mutual locations. We are looking for candidates with daytime as well as evening availability. Responsibilities Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions in various subjects. Plan and implement individualized instruction. Provide group lessons to up to groups of 7 students (paid differently than 1 on 1 and not required for all positions). Create and implement customized lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to the unique learning styles of each student. Meet students at their local library or travel to their home for lessons. Adapt methods to ensure student progress. Attending training sessions to ensure you can uphold our reputation. Communicate progress with parents of learners. Make learning fun and hands on! Skills Ability to educate students using various instructional strategies tailored to individual needs. Experience in tutoring or teaching. Knowledge of curriculum development processes to contribute effectively to educational programs. Familiarity with special education practices to support diverse learners. Excellent lesson planning capabilities that promote student engagement and understanding. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues. Join us in making a difference in the lives of young learners through personalized education!
Pay:
$23.00 - $29.00 per hour Expected hours: 4.0 - 25.0 per week
