Qualifications:
Valid Florida ESE (Exceptional Student Education) certification required Experience with self-contained elementary classrooms preferred Strong classroom management and individualized instruction skills Passion for creating tailored educational plans to meet diverse student needs Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Responsibilities:
Lead a self-contained special education classroom for 2nd and 3rd graders Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for each student Foster a positive, respectful, and engaging classroom environment Collaborate with fellow educators, support staff, and families to ensure student progress Adapt instructional techniques to accommodate various learning styles and abilities Track and assess student progress, documenting growth and areas for adjustment
