Our program provides a structured, supportive environment where students work at their individual grade levels and receive guidance from a certified teacher. This is not a traditional whole-group classroom. The Lead Teacher circulates among students, monitors progress, provides individualized and small-group support, facilitates enrichment activities, and maintains a positive learning environment. Qualifications Required Florida K-12 Teacher Certification + Level 2 Background Screening AND

• Current Florida K-12 teaching certification
• Ability to pass a Level 2 background screening
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively with students across multiple grade levels
• Comfortable using a tablet and educational technology
• Dependable availability Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-12:30 PM Preferred
• ESE certification, endorsement, or experience
• Experience supporting students with IEPs, 504 Plans, ADHD, autism, learning disabilities, or other diverse learning needs
• Familiarity with PBIS, differentiated instruction, and executive-function supports Key Responsibilities
• Facilitate approximately 90 minutes of academic learning and 90 minutes of enrichment activities each day.
• Use Homeschool Classroom's "Helicopter Method" by circulating among students, monitoring progress, checking for understanding, providing targeted assistance, and encouraging independent learning.
• Implement Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and effective classroom-management strategies.
• Support organization, task initiation, time management, self-regulation, and positive learning habits.
• Use an employer-issued tablet to check students in and out, including scanning parent/guardian QR codes and verifying authorized adults' identification when necessary.
• Photograph and document student work/progress for daily electronic session notes.
• Complete required daily documentation and an end-of-day checklist.
• Clock in and out using the employer-issued tablet.
• Maintain student safety, privacy, confidentiality, and professional standards.

They should know when to step in with instructional support, and when to encourage a student to problem-solve independently.
