Part-Time Orton-Gillingham Small Group Teacher The Bilgrav School•West Palm Beach, FL Position Overview The Bilgrav School is seeking a passionate, dynamic Part-Time Orton-Gillingham Small Group Teacher to join our innovative team for the upcoming school year. This role focuses on providing structured literacy instruction to small groups of students in a supportive learning environment designed specifically for students with dyslexia. At Bilgrav, we are not a remedial program—we are a rigorous, forward-thinking school that teaches bright, dyslexic students in the ways they learn best. Our mission is to help students build the foundational literacy skills, confidence, and independence they need to thrive academically and personally. About Our School The Bilgrav School is a specialized learning environment for students with dyslexia. Our interdisciplinary, collaborative teaching team creates engaging learning experiences that allow students to deeply understand and apply grade-level content. We emphasize critical thinking, creativity, and confidence-building while providing evidence-based literacy instruction tailored to each student's needs. Key Responsibilities Teach small-group Orton-Gillingham literacy lessons to students in grades 2-8 Deliver structured, multisensory reading, spelling, and writing instruction using Orton-Gillingham principles Differentiate instruction to meet individual student needs and learning profiles Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records Encourage student growth, confidence, and independence Use engaging, multisensory teaching techniques to support literacy development Collaborate with colleagues to support student success and literacy goals Qualifications Bachelor's degree (Education, Special Education, Reading, or related field preferred) Orton-Gillingham training or certification preferred 2+ years of teaching, tutoring, or literacy intervention experience Experience working with students with dyslexia and language-based learning differences Strong understanding of structured literacy principles Ability to adapt instruction to meet individual student needs Excellent communication and organizational skills A positive, patient, and nurturing approach to working with students What We're Looking For A teacher who is passionate about helping students with dyslexia reach their full potential Someone who is collaborative, flexible, and student-centered An educator who understands the importance of explicit, systematic literacy instruction A professional who can build strong relationships with students and families while fostering a growth mindset

Depending on availability, education, experience & certifications•$100 to $130 per school day Position hours: 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m
