You will create a positive and engaging learning environment, implement educational programs, and provide guidance and support to students.Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth
- Provide instruction in various subjects, including special education, childhood development, literacy education, math, and physical education
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop educational strategies and initiatives
- Utilize effective teaching methods to engage students and enhance their understanding of the subject matter
- Monitor student behavior and maintain a safe and respectful classroom environment
- Provide individualized support to students who require additional assistance or have special needs
- Foster a love for learning by incorporating interactive activities, projects, and discussions into lessons
- Stay updated on current educational practices and trends in order to continuously improve teaching methods
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and educational theories
- Experience working with children in a childcare or tutoring setting
- Familiarity with special education practices and strategies for supporting students with special needs
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with students of different ages and backgrounds
- Organizational skills to effectively plan lessons, manage classroom activities, and assess student progress
- Adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students and adjust teaching methods accordingly
