Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead 2's Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in an early childhood education setting. As a Lead 2's Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting children's developmental milestones, ensuring their safety and well-being, and collaborating with families and colleagues to create an enriching educational experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead by example, innovate teaching methods, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of young children. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social-emotional development through effective classroom management and behavior management techniques. Deliver engaging lessons tailored to the developmental needs of toddlers and preschool-aged children, incorporating activities that promote childhood development and early intervention strategies. Monitor and assess individual student progress using standardized testing tools and formative assessments; adapt teaching approaches accordingly. Foster strong communication with families to discuss child welfare, progress updates, and collaborative strategies for supporting each child's growth. Manage daily classroom routines, ensuring safety protocols are followed in childcare settings such as daycare or private schools. Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary activities, organize tutoring sessions if needed, and ensure a cohesive educational approach across classrooms. Experience Prior classroom experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools is essential. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across subjects including literacy education, math, physical education, and special education techniques. Experience with classroom management strategies that promote positive behavior and child welfare. Knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention practices, and Montessori or similar educational philosophies is highly desirable. Proven ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members while maintaining a supportive learning environment. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and lesson planning tailored for early learners is preferred. Previous experience working with children requiring special education support or early intervention services will be considered an asset.
