Duties Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans tailored to two-year-olds, incorporating literacy education, early intervention strategies, and Montessori methods. Manage daily classroom activities to ensure a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development. Utilize behavior management techniques to support positive behavior and address individual needs effectively. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress, developmental milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or special education needs. Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, assessments, and standardized testing results as required. Foster early childhood education principles through activities that promote language development, math skills, physical education, and overall classroom management. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or aides to ensure high-quality instructional support. Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, safety standards, and best practices in childcare and preschool environments. Experience Prior experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management techniques. Experience with special education, early intervention programs, or literacy education is highly desirable. Knowledge of childhood development stages, Montessori methods, and teaching physical education enhances effectiveness in this role. Strong communication skills for engaging with children, parents, staff, and community partners. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and tutoring strategies for early learners is advantageous. Previous experience working in private schools or daycare centers that emphasize early childhood education principles is preferred.
