Kiddie Academy of Winter Park is looking for a dependable, energetic, and flexible Floater Teacher to join our growing team! As a Floater Teacher, you'll play an essential role in supporting classrooms throughout the academy. You'll help maintain consistency in children's daily routines while assisting teachers, providing nurturing care, and creating engaging learning experiences in classrooms ranging from infants through Pre-K. Responsibilities Provide classroom support as needed throughout the academy. Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing learning environment. Supervise children while promoting positive behavior and social-emotional development. Assist Lead and Assistant Teachers with classroom activities, lesson implementation, meals, naps, and daily routines. Step into classrooms during teacher breaks, planning time, meetings, and absences. Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow educators. Follow Kiddie Academy policies and all Florida childcare licensing regulations. Help maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and licensing compliance. Encourage children's curiosity, independence, and love of learning. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Previous childcare or early childhood education experience preferred. Florida DCF 45-Hour Introductory Child Care Training completed or willingness to complete upon hire. CPR and First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain). Ability to successfully pass state and federal background screening. Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills. Reliable, adaptable, and passionate about working with young children.
