Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Young Ones Teacher to inspire and nurture the development of our youngest learners. In this vital role, you will lead a dynamic classroom environment, fostering early childhood education through engaging lesson plans, innovative curriculum development, and compassionate child care. Responsibilities Lead and manage a classroom of young children, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes early childhood development. Develop and implement creative curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support holistic learning. Apply effective classroom management techniques to foster positive behavior and maintain an organized learning space. Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, assessment strategies, and individualized support for children requiring special education or early intervention services. Engage with children through age-appropriate activities that enhance social skills, emotional regulation, and cognitive growth. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children's progress, behavior management strategies, and developmental milestones. Ensure compliance with childcare standards, standardized testing protocols, and child welfare regulations while maintaining high-quality classroom experience. Requirements Proven experience working with children in early childhood education settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies. Experience in curriculum development encompassing literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and Montessori methodologies. Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention programs, and inclusive teaching practices. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and children. Demonstrated ability to plan engaging lessons that promote active learning and developmental progress. Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is preferred; prior preschool or daycare experience is highly valued.
