Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated VPK Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for implementing educational programs that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development. Teachers need to have her CDA CREDENTIALS and VPK class done. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and learning. Utilize behavior management techniques to maintain a safe and respectful classroom atmosphere. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and development. Support children with special needs through individualized instruction and early intervention strategies. Collaborate with other educators to create an inclusive classroom environment that meets the diverse needs of all students. Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessments. Organize classroom activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development through play-based learning. Skills Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Experience working with students in a daycare or preschool setting is preferred. Familiarity with Montessori methods or other educational philosophies is a plus. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to manage classroom behavior positively and constructively. Experience in special education or early intervention strategies is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills to maintain an orderly classroom environment.
