Desired Qualifications:

Valid teaching credential with Deaf/Hard of Hearing endorsement or eligibility Experience working with children who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, preferably in school environments Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) or another communication modality for Deaf/Hard of Hearing students Strong communication and advocacy skills Ability to design and adapt curriculum to meet individualized education plans (IEPs) Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and educators

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct instruction to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, both individually and in small groups Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to implement IEPs and individualized learning strategies Adapt instructional materials and deliver lessons using methods accessible to Deaf/Hard of Hearing learners Foster a supportive classroom environment that values inclusion and diversity Monitor student progress, conduct assessments, and participate in IEP meetings Serve as a resource and advocate for students, staff, and families in all matters related to Deaf education Youll have the chance to make a meaningful impact every day, while working in a rewarding and collaborative school community.
