A Special Education Teacher teaches students who have disabilities, and adapts teaching methods to meet the needs of students. 07/29/2026 Classroom Teacher (K-5) Purpose of the position To teach students, manage and maintain the classroom, and monitor assigned students. Strategic Goal Area I –Student Achievement 1. Plan with deep knowledge of content and delivery 2. Demonstrate a clear understanding of the curriculum 3. Plan interdisciplinary units with real-world connections 4. Use the curriculum to plan instruction and assessment 5. Use an organizing framework to plan instruction 6. Plan assessment to measure mastery of the curriculum 7. Demonstrate research-based strategies 8. Engage higher-order thinking skills 9. Utilize appropriate differentiation 10. Utilize flexible grouping practices 11. Utilize accessible technology 12.
