Qualifications and Experience:
Certification as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (state licensure required or eligibility to obtain) Experience working with students diagnosed with varying hearing abilities, utilizing both spoken language and sign language, is strongly preferred Proficiency with assistive listening technology and adaptive classroom tools Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including general education teachers, speech-language pathologists, and families Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills Commitment to fostering a supportive and accessible learning environment for all students
Key Responsibilities:
