Key Qualifications:

Valid teaching certification/license appropriate for Deaf / Hard of Hearing education Degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or related field Knowledge of sign language (ASL) and other communication modalities Experience working with students with hearing differences, preferably in a school environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, families, and staff Ability to develop and adapt individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet students diverse needs
