Job Description

Make a meaningful impact by supporting students as a full-time IRR Teacher, working onsite with a dedicated caseload of 15-18 students. This contract position runs through the end of May 2027, offering you a rewarding opportunity to provide individualized instruction, implement IEPs, and foster a positive learning environment. You'll collaborate closely with general education staff to ensure student success and play a vital role in maintaining strong classroom management and documentation standards. Your expertise will help shape inclusive learning experiences for middle schoolers, enabling their academic and personal growth each day.
Role Details:
Contract position: Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday Assignment dates: ASAP start through 5/26/2027 Onsite only—located at a middle school in the greater Harlem area
Qualifications:
Active GaPSC Certification or Georgia General SPED Certification (or similar) Prior experience in a school-based special education setting Solid skills in classroom management, IEP support, and collaboration with educational teams Ability to provide comprehensive documentation and maintain compliance with special education laws Reliable transportation to ensure consistent onsite attendance Full-time availability without significant scheduling conflicts
Responsibilities:
