Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Floater Teacher to join our early childhood education team. In this vital role, you will serve as a flexible classroom presence, stepping into various teaching environments to support our dedicated staff and ensure a seamless learning experience for young children. Your enthusiasm and versatility will help foster a nurturing, engaging, and educational atmosphere across multiple classrooms. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to early childhood development while gaining diverse classroom experience. Duties Assist in implementing curriculum development plans tailored to early childhood education standards and individual student needs Support classroom management and behavior management strategies to promote positive social interactions and learning environments Collaborate with teachers on lesson planning, incorporating literacy education, math, physical education, and child development instruction Engage with children during activities such as toddler care, preschool lessons, and early intervention programs to foster growth and curiosity Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress, classroom activities, and behavioral updates in accordance with mandated reporting laws Maintain classroom organization, ensure safety protocols are followed, including first aid and CPR procedures, and support classroom routines Contribute to standardized testing preparations and assessments to monitor child welfare and developmental milestones Experience Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing literacy education programs Classroom experience in preschool or toddler care environments is advantageous Familiarity with behavior management techniques, classroom management practices, and child welfare policies Ability to communicate clearly with children, parents, and team members using strong communication skills Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or physical education are a plus Experience working within private schools or similar educational institutions is beneficial Join us as a Floater Teacher to make a meaningful impact on young learners' lives!
