Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid Georgia SRT4 or higher license with current GaPSC certification Experience teaching or supporting students in special education settings, preferably with elementary-aged children Knowledge of best practices in individualized education, IEP development, and differentiation Excellent communication skills to engage with students, families, and educational staff Ability to adapt strategies to meet diverse learning needs

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement effective, differentiated lesson plans aligned with IEP goals for K-5th grade students Monitor student progress and adjust instructional approaches to promote individual growth Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families to enhance student success Maintain timely and accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with state and federal regulations Create a safe, supportive classroom environment that nurtures student confidence and participation Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional learning opportunities as needed
