Key Qualifications:

Certified Special Education Teacher with experience in K-12 settings Solid background supporting students with ASD and non-verbal communication challenges Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring Familiarity with evidence-based strategies for instructional and behavioral support Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, families, and related service providers Flexibility to adapt instructional methods to varied learning abilities and needs Preference given to candidates living in or near the La Fayette, GA area

Responsibilities:

Deliver tailored instruction and interventions to students with diverse learning needs Develop and manage IEPs, working with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance and student success Track student progress, modify strategies as needed, and maintain thorough records Engage with families to foster positive school-home partnerships Contribute positively to the school community and participate in professional development activities Uphold district and school policies and promote an inclusive, respectful school culture School hours are from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced SPED teacher ready to make a lasting impact throughout the school year.
