A contract position is available for a skilled Special Education Teacher to support a Pre-K program. This full-time role (37.5 hours/week) is scheduled from August 4th, 2026 through May 21st, 2027. In this setting, you'll work with children ages 3-5 who present various needs. Many students are non-verbal or have limited verbal abilities, and some require assistance with toilet training, diapering, and feeding. Qualifications:

Must hold a valid Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) Teaching Certificate Endorsements in both Special and General Education, covering Pre-K age groups Previous experience with early childhood or preschool special education preferred Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) Comfortable supporting toileting, feeding, and communication needs Excellent collaboration and communication abilities
