Manage daily classroom routines, ensuring a safe, clean, and organized environment conducive to learning and exploration. Use effective behavior management techniques to support positive social interactions and emotional regulation among children. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns through meetings or written updates. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety standards. Collaborate with colleagues to develop classroom management strategies that support inclusive education and special needs accommodations when necessary. Qualifications Proven experience working with young children in a classroom setting, preferably with toddlers or preschoolers. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention practices, and preschool teaching methodologies. Experience in curriculum development focused on literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional learning. Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies suitable for toddlers. Excellent communication skills for effective parent communication and team collaboration. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; training will be provided. Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare is essential. Demonstrated ability to plan lessons that incorporate standardized testing practices when appropriate for assessment purposes.
