Foster a safe, inclusive environment that promotes child welfare and emotional well-being. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to share progress, address concerns, and collaborate on supporting each child's growth. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate records of each child's development and activities. Incorporate early intervention strategies when necessary to support children with special education needs or developmental delays. Skills Strong knowledge of child development principles specific to toddlers aged three years old. Experience working with children in preschool or childcare settings, including classroom experience with young learners. Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques. Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs, and childhood welfare standards. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Knowledge of mandated reporting laws, first aid and CPR certification for emergency preparedness. Ability to implement standardized testing methods when assessing developmental progress or academic skills such as literacy and math. Experience teaching physical education activities suitable for toddlers to promote motor skills development.
