Key Qualifications:
Hold an active GaPSC Teaching Certificate with both Special and General Education Endorsements (covering Pre-K). Proven experience working with children ages 3-5, preferably in a Special Education setting. Familiarity with assisting students who are non-verbal or have low verbal abilities. Ability to support needs around toilet training/diapering and feeding. Strong patience, adaptability, and collaborative mindset.
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized instruction and care to preschoolers with diverse learning and behavioral needs. Support students daily routines, including toileting and feeding assistance as needed. Implement behavior intervention strategies and communication supports. Coordinate with specialists, paraprofessionals, and family members to optimize learning outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP meetings and related administrative tasks.
