Qualifications:

Valid Georgia teaching credential as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) Demonstrated experience working with visually impaired elementary students is strongly preferred Understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and adaptive technology Strong communication and collaboration skills Reliable, self-motivated, and compassionate

Responsibilities:

Deliver direct instruction to a single elementary student with visual impairment Assess student progress and adapt strategies to meet evolving needs Work closely with school staff and families for coordinated support Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines Utilize specialized materials and technology to promote accessible learning Advocate for the student's needs within the school environment This assignment starts as soon as possible and continues through May 21, 2027. Youll work one day per week for 1-2 hours, receiving $50 per hour along with access to an excellent benefits package.
