What Were Looking For:
Valid Georgia Special Education licensure for high school grades Experience or strong interest in working with high school-aged students with severe and profound intellectual disabilities Comfortable with job duties that include physical aspects to support students unique needs Ability to collaborate with a team; district-provided supervision (Paras, RBTs, CNAs, or LPNs) available Commitment to individualized instruction and student advocacy
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs Engage students with creative, inclusive learning strategies Provide hands-on support while maintaining a safe, compassionate classroom Coordinate with fellow educators, support staff, and families Track and document student progress in alignment with goals Uphold compliance with district procedures, including required fingerprints and onboarding prior to your start
