Responsibilities Develop and implement individualized lesson plans tailored to students' unique needs, including those with developmental disabilities, autism, visual impairments, or other special education requirements Integrate speech therapy, behavioral therapy, music therapy, and recreational therapy techniques into daily instruction to support holistic student development Utilize educational technology tools and learning software to create engaging lessons that promote literacy, math skills, and early childhood development Manage classroom behavior through positive behavior management strategies and instructional modifications aligned with IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals and special education law Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, conduct assessments, and prepare reports for parent communication and compliance purposes Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including speech therapists, behavioral specialists, therapists, and other educators to ensure cohesive support for each student Support classroom management by creating a safe, nurturing environment that encourages curiosity and active participation among students Requirements Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; advanced certifications in special education or early childhood education preferred Proven experience working with children or students with disabilities in classroom settings or specialized programs Knowledge of curriculum development tailored for diverse learners including those with autism, developmental disabilities, or visual impairments Familiarity with instructional design, lesson planning, standardized testing, and educational compliance regulations Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and collaboration with colleagues Experience implementing instructional modifications and understanding of special education law (such as IEPs) Ability to adapt teaching methods using educational technology tools and learning software to meet individual student needs Join us in making a meaningful difference!
