FLOATER TEACHER

Luna's Early Learning Academy We are looking for a caring, dependable, and flexible Part-Time Floater Teacher to join our team!

Schedule:

Monday-Friday Approximately 3-6 hours per day , with shifts scheduled between 9:00 AM-3:00 PM based on classroom needs and enrollment. Our Floater Teacher will support classrooms throughout the day and may work with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.

Responsibilities include:

Supporting lead teachers and assisting with daily classroom routines Providing classroom coverage and staff breaks as needed Substituting in classrooms when teachers are out for sick days, vacation days, approved time-off requests, appointments, or other absences Being flexible and comfortable stepping into different classrooms and age groups as needed Engaging children in age-appropriate play, learning, and activities Assisting with diaper changes, potty training, and toileting routines Helping with meals, snacks, nap time, and classroom transitions Assisting with daily classroom cleaning, sanitizing, and organization Cleaning tables, toys, learning materials, eating areas, and shared spaces Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming classroom environment Supervising children closely and following health and safety procedures Logging meals, naps, diapers, activities, and other daily information in Procare Building positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers Supporting our bilingual environment and using basic Spanish when comfortable We're looking for someone who is: Reliable and punctual Patient, nurturing, and energetic Comfortable working with multiple age groups Comfortable with diapering, potty training, and cleaning Flexible and available to provide classroom coverage as needed Able to adjust to different classroom routines and teaching teams A strong team player who takes initiative Able to communicate professionally with families and staff

Preferred Qualifications:

Childcare or early childhood experience preferred Basic Spanish is a plus Procare experience is a plus — training can be provided Must meet Idaho childcare licensing requirements and complete required background checks and training To apply: Please send your resume, a brief introduction, and your availability.

Pay:

$12.00 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 25.0 per week
