ESL Teacher (Special Education Experience Required) | Arlington Heights, IL Are you a passionate ESL Teacher with experience supporting students with disabilities? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team in Arlington Heights, Illinois , and make a meaningful impact on multilingual learners in a special education setting.

Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-3:30 PM (32.5 hours/week)
Requirements:
? Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) ? ESL Endorsement (K-8) ? Experience working with students with disabilities (Required) ? LBS1 Preferred ? Strong communication and collaboration skills ? Ability to travel between district locations as needed
Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized and small-group ESL instruction
  • Support English language development and access to grade-level curriculum
  • Collaborate with special education teams and support multilingual learners with disabilities
  • Participate in IEP meetings and student assessments
  • Support ACCESS and Alternate ACCESS testing
  • Partner with families and school teams to ensure student success

The Special Education Teacher has a commitment to team participation in planning and implementation of student programs including special instruction, tutorial assistance and consultation with general education staff.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university preferred Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations Minimum of one year experience in teaching environment preferred State Teacher Certification;
