Desired Qualifications:
Valid Special Education teaching certification Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field (Masters degree preferred) Experience working with students with diverse abilities and educational needs Strong understanding of IEP process and documentation Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet individual learning stylesKey Responsibilities:
Develop and implement tailored lesson plans based on student IEPs Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed for maximum impact Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to promote inclusion and accessibility Maintain accurate records of student achievements, attendance, and behavioral progress Foster a positive, structured classroom environment that encourages student engagement Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress, goals, and interventions This position offers the chance to provide meaningful support while further developing your teaching skills in a dynamic school setting.
