In this position, youll engage with a manageable caseload of 15 or fewer students, focusing on individual education plans (IEPs), behavior interventions, and progress monitoring. Your day will run from 8:15am to 3:00pm, ensuring both structure and the ability to maintain work-life balance. This assignment is slated to begin as soon as possible and may extend until early June 2027, or earlier based on evolving needs.

Needed Qualifications & Experience:

Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher or Behavior Specialist in school settings Strong knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies Adept at developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs Excellent communication skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Commitment to fostering a positive, supportive classroom atmosphere
