Desired Background and Qualifications:

Active Special Education Teacher certification, meeting state requirements Experience or strong interest in working with PreK5th grade students Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress tracking Bilingual in Spanish preferred, with the ability to communicate effectively with both students and families Demonstrated patience, adaptability, and empathy Strong classroom management and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

Design and deliver individualized lessons to address unique learning needs within an inclusive environment Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with federal and state guidelines Foster a supportive, respectful classroom culture that promotes engagement and growth Collaborate closely with general educators, specialists, and families to ensure students academic and social success Conduct assessments and interpret data to inform instruction and identify areas for targeted support Maintain timely and detailed records of student progress and communication Working in this role gives you the chance to work with a supportive educational team and gain valuable experience in a diverse school community.
