Job Description

What we're looking for: Valid teaching credentials with Special Education certification Prior experience working in a self-contained setting or with students in grades 4-5 Strong communication and organizational skills Dedication to implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) Ability to collaborate with support staff, families, and administrators Adaptability and a creative approach to supporting diverse learning needs Key responsibilities: Design and deliver engaging lessons in line with IEP goals Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment Track and document student progress throughout the school year Work in partnership with paraprofessionals, therapists, and other staff Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding student growth Encourage and celebrate student successes—big and small This role is perfect for a Special Education Teacher passionate about guiding elementary students in a close-knit classroom environment.
