Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid Special Education teaching certification appropriate for K-8th grade Demonstrated skill in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Ability to adapt curriculum for a variety of learning needs and styles Strong communication and collaboration skills, working well with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Passion for fostering growth and confidence in students with diverse abilities Previous experience in school settings is advantageous

Responsibilities and Key Duties:

Design, adapt, and deliver engaging lesson plans for students with special needs Develop and monitor progress on IEPs, ensuring compliance and measurable growth Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and related service providers Communicate effectively with families, keeping them informed and involved in their childs progress Manage classroom behavior and implement positive reinforcement strategies Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events
