Works in a classroom that includes only students with IEPs, or works with students and teachers in regular classes. For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.

Qualifications:
Valid Illinois PEL (Professional Educator License) and LBS1 endorsement required Experience in Special Education and/or as a Behavior Specialist preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environmentsResponsibilities:
Manage a caseload of 15 or fewer students, tailoring instruction to individual needs Collaborate with colleagues and support staff for effective educational planning Implement and document individualized education programs (IEPs) Utilize behavior intervention and classroom management strategies Maintain accurate records and adhere to state and school policiesBenefits:
