Job Description
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid teaching certification in Special Education (state requirements apply) Experience working with elementary, middle, or high school students with special needs Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and evaluation Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff Adaptability and creativity in modifying curriculum and strategies to meet varying needs Familiarity with current best practices, instructional techniques, and assistive technologiesKey Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver individualized lesson plans tailored to students unique learning requirements Manage caseloads, oversee IEP processes, and maintain compliance with state guidelines Utilize a variety of behavioral and instructional strategies to promote engagement and skill acquisition Collaborate closely with general educators, paraprofessionals, therapists, and administrators Maintain accurate records of student progress, interventions, and communications Foster a safe, supportive, and respectful classroom where every student feels valuedBenefits:
