Key Qualifications:

Must hold a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate Special Education endorsements Demonstrated commitment to working with high school-aged students with diverse learning needs Experience writing and implementing IEPs, progress monitoring, and maintaining accurate records Ability to collaborate with colleagues and participate in IEP meetings Genuine interest in supporting the academic and personal growth of students

Position Details & Responsibilities:

Full-time role: 37.5 hours per week over a 10-month academic year Position runs from August 17, 2026, through June 2027 Manage a caseload of approximately 10-15 students Instruct 3 inclusion classes and 2 resource classes Benefit from 2 dedicated preparation periods and a duty-free lunch each day Responsible for managing your own caseload, including IEP development, documentation, and compliance Work collaboratively with a Special Education Case Manager and support team
