Job Description
Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic contract opportunity making a tangible impact on young learners as a Special Education Teacher. This assignment begins in October 2026 and runs through December 2026—or potentially January 2027. You'll be supporting K-4th grade students, working within a tight-knit caseload of six children in a blend of push-in and self-contained environments. Your workday will be Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 3:00pm, allowing for a balanced schedule and a 30-minute unpaid lunch each day. The role is situated in accessible Chicago neighborhoods, including Englewood or East Chatham.
