This full-time contract opportunity focuses on supporting a group of approximately 10 students in grades 3-5, offering both pullout and push-in services as a resource teacher. Your expertise and care will help students thrive in an inclusive setting from now through December 21st.
Key responsibilities:
Provide direct instruction and support to special education students in grades 3-5 Deliver both pullout and push-in minutes based on students' individualized needs Collaborate closely with general education teachers, counselors, and staff Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, meeting all compliance guidelines Foster a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment
Qualifications:
Current Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement (Illinois) Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher is highly desirable Thorough knowledge of special education laws, best practices, and IEP development Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Commitment to promoting inclusivity and academic success for all learners Must be able to work onsite This position offers a highly competitive weekly pay structure along with comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, and a 401(k) retirement plan.
