Job Description

Step into a rewarding role dedicated to student success as an IEP Case Manager for elementary and middle school-aged learners. This full-time contract opportunity offers meaningful engagement with K-8 students in a dynamic educational setting. Your expertise as a Special Education Teacher will support diverse learners, ensuring individualized education plans are developed, implemented, and monitored to maximize each childs potential. Skills in leadership, communication, and organization are highly valued, as you will be coordinating services, collaborating with teams, and guiding students and families through the IEP process. Caseloads vary, presenting the chance to work with students whose needs require both compassion and strategic planning.
Qualifications:
Valid LBS1 endorsement is required. Previous experience as a case manager in a school setting is preferred. Strong understanding of special education laws, compliance, and best practices. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for working with families, students, and professionals. Dedication to promoting student growth and advocating for supportive services.
Responsibilities:
Manage IEP development and implementation for assigned students. Maintain compliance with all state and federal special education regulations. Collaborate with general educators, therapists, service providers, and families to support student progress. Facilitate IEP meetings, ensuring parent engagement and clear communication. Monitor and document student achievements, adjusting plans as necessary. Provide direct instruction and academic interventions as outlined in student IEPs.
