Job Summary:
Seeking a Special Education Teacher to support an elementary-level self-contained classroom. The teacher will provide academic and behavioral support, implement appropriate interventions, and collaborate with school staff and service providers.
Requirements:
Illinois PEL with LBS1 endorsement required Special education/self-contained classroom experience preferred Experience with academic, behavioral, and life-skills instruction Strong collaboration and communication skills CPS/Fingerprinting and CANTS clearance required BI02
Pay:
$52.00

00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 per week Application Question(s): Do you currently hold an active Illinois PEL with LBS1 endorsement? How many years of experience do you have as a Special Education Teacher? Do you have experience working in a self-contained special education classroom? Do you have experience working with elementary school students with special education needs? Do you have experience developing or implementing IEPs and individualized academic/behavioral interventions? Do you have experience working with low-incidence populations and/or students requiring life-skills instruction? Are you comfortable working Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-2:30 PM (35 hours/week) through May 28, 2027?
