Category Schools - General Education Teacher Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding teaching role for the upcoming school year as a Technology Teacher for 7th and 8th grade students at a welcoming middle school near Gurnee, IL. This contract position offers the opportunity to inspire and guide students as they build essential tech skills for their academic and future success.
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with the appropriate endorsement(s) Experience in curriculum development, instructional planning, and classroom teaching Knowledge of technology trends in education and best practices for middle school learners Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement engaging technology lessons tailored to 7th and 8th grade curriculum standards Foster digital literacy and problem-solving skills among students Collaborate with fellow educators and school staff to integrate technology across disciplines Maintain accurate records of students' progress and provide constructive feedback Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and required school activities Uphold school policies and build strong relationships with students and families
Position Details:
