Key Qualifications:
Valid Illinois (IL) State License in Special Education or related relevant discipline Professional Educator License (PEL) required Demonstrated experience working as a Special Education Teacher and/or Case Manager within a school environment Strong expertise in supporting students with multiple and complex needs Exceptional communication, organization, and documentation skills Ability to adapt instructional methods and strategies to meet individual student goals
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage the educational programs and case files for a small caseload of four students with varied, complex needs Develop, implement, and regularly review IEPs (Individualized Education Plans) ensuring compliance with all regulations and requirements Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, families, and other professionals to create coordinated support strategies Provide direct instruction and interventions tailored to each students strengths and areas of need Maintain up-to-date documentation and reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for all student records Attend relevant meetings, trainings, and planning sessions as required by the school and district
